Investment Objective

Our project is trading Bitcoin by using Rsi with two periods, ema 10-50, MACD, and KNN. First of all, my trading strategy is finding some trend and using those trends to produce profit. So the indicators i used are very strong trend catching indicators based on their mathematical formula. I used Rsi with two different periods because when Rsi with a short period is higher than the Rsi with a long period that means the price is in an up trend lately. Also, ema is a very essential indicator on finding trends, this is because ema tracks the price over time. Using and comparing the ema with different time frames can help us to determine an upcoming trend. Besides, I have used two methods to find and determine an upcoming trend, the trading strategy needs a momentum indicator. And MACD is one of the best momentum indicator, so that I added it to improve my strategy accuracy. Using the KNN algorithm for python training because I have learnt this algorithm in University. Also, the Knn algorithm has a very strong module in python called KNeighborsClassifier. Lastly, I chose Bitcoin to be my trading asset because Bitcoin has the biggest volume amount of all cryptocurrency, and huge volume often brings a huge trend, and my strategy needs trends, so Bitcoin is the best trading asset for my trading strategy.
